Overview of hybrid ceramic bearings
(1) High temperature resistance. The thermal expansion coefficient of ceramic balls is small, which will not cause the expansion of bearing balls due to the temperature in the high temperature environment, which greatly increases the use temperature of the entire bearing. The temperature of ordinary bearing is about 160 degrees, and the temperature of ceramic balls can reach more than 220 degrees.
(2) High rotation speed. Ceramic ball has no oil self-lubrication property, ceramic ball friction coefficient is small, so ceramic ball bearing has a very high speed. According to statistics, the ceramic ball bearings are used more than 1.5 times the speed of general bearings.
(3) Long life. Ceramic balls can be made without any grease, which means that even if the grease is removed, the bearing can still operate, thus avoiding the premature damage caused by oil removal in common bearings. According to our test and feedback from some customers, the working life of the bearings after using ceramic balls is 2-3 times that of ordinary bearings.
(4) Last but not least, insulation. The bearing of ceramic ball can insulate the inner and outer rings of the bearing. As ceramic ball is an insulator, the effect of insulation can be achieved by using ceramic balls between the inner and outer rings of the bearing. In this way, the bearing can be used in an conductive environment.
