Congratulations, you are MCB’s first ever vlogger! What can you say about that?
A part of me is happy but at the same time tensed because whatever I’m doing now in the marketing department will be the benchmark of future vloggers in Mineral Circles Bearings.
The pressure is on especially with someone like me who does not have any background on vlogging. It’s really challenging– a good way to explore new things which I am really fond of. This will not be possible of course without the support of my colleagues.
What can you say about vlogging in the bearing industry?
For someone who does not have a background in automotive and industrial bearings, it’s not that easy since everything is so technical. Plus, you have to consider the right target audience and you have to be on guard on what you must say.
Despite these, I started to enjoy vlogging as I can be myself and I can say whatever I want but taking into consideration the company’s editorial restrictions.
How can vlogging help MCB market itself as a company and its brands?
Apart from promoting our products or brands, vlogging is a good platform to reflect the company’s corporate culture and boost employee engagement which can interest a wide audience especially Millennials. This is really important since our marketing efforts are gearing towards digitization.
What can the bearing industry expect from MCB’s future vlogs?
That will be a surprise! We will be sharing more in the coming weeks and who knows, you will be a part of our “league”.
